Authentic Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant launching in stunning Haywards Heath venue
Rafael is a hugely talented and creative Spanish Chef with a wealth of experience gained over 25 years in both Spanish and Modern European kitchens. His love of gastronomy and hospitality has earned him a large following of satisfied customers serving traditional style Tapas and A La Carte Mediterranean menus wherever he has worked, such as for the Farola group of Spanish restaurants, where he was the group head chef. Rafael has also worked in some of the most prestigious venues on the London dining scene, including The New Connaught Rooms and Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten Hotel as the Head Chef of this prestigious 4 star boutique hotel, located in the heart of Covent Garden.
Rafael has now returned to his roots to open La Capilla (The Chapel) at Haywards Heath’s most famous landmark, The Priory. Rafael said “We are very excited about the opportunity to have a vibrant, lively Tapas bar and restaurant here at the Priory. It is such a wonderful location and I have a fantastic team of staff both in the kitchen and running the restaurant floor, with many years experience of running Spanish style restaurants, so I am confident that the people of Mid Sussex will have a great time here with us. We will be bringing the full Spanish experience to Haywards Heath, including Flamenco shows, Spanish Guitarists and superb, authentic Spanish dishes including a huge range of Tapas, Paella’s and lots of other tasty food. We also have a great range of Spanish wines and beers to complement the food. In Spain we love to get the whole family together and spend lots of time eating, drinking and having fun around the dinner table. Family and friends are one of the most important things in our culture and I am very passionate about making people happy through cooking for them.
